Formula & How It Works
Formula
Loan Amount = Property Value × (1 − Down Payment %); EMI = L × r × (1+r)^n / ((1+r)^n − 1)The down payment reduces the loan principal. The remaining amount is financed at the given rate. EMI is calculated using the standard reducing balance formula.
A higher down payment reduces your loan burden and total interest paid. Most banks in India require a minimum 10–25% down payment depending on property value and borrower profile.
Why Tatsyavyatur Calculators Are Unique
Unlike generic calculators, Tatsyavyatur's tools are calibrated to Indian real estate norms — CII tables updated for the latest Finance Act, state-specific stamp duty rates, PMAY slabs, and Indian banking FOIR standards. Every calculation uses RBI-aligned formulas so your planning is grounded in reality, not approximation.
